Iconic Wimborne Cup successfully launched at Folk Festival

The Wimborne Cup was successfully launched at this year's Folk Festival. The iconic design certainly caught the eye, with many people buying the cup as a memento of the Festival. 11 pubs and one brewery took part and sold most of the 8,500 cups ordered. The good news is that. anecdotally, there was much less plastic litter in the streets.
Planet Wimborne's Spring Green a great success
Planet Wimborne, together with its community groups, delivered a number of inspiring and engaging events to celebrate Earth Day. Earth Day falls on 22nd April every year and issues a call to action for people across the world to come together to help protect our fragile planet. Planet Wimborne takes this 'Think Global, Act Local' principle to provide a great way for local people to come together and feel part of a bigger community effort.
