Welcome to Great Big Green Week 2025, when a million people – just like you – will come together to be part of a wave of actions for friends and family, climate and nature.

We can all make small swaps, large swaps and swaps that change the system, to make our communities better.

By coming together, we’ll also send a message loud and clear to our politicians and decision makers that we need to swap old ways for better ways now.

The Great Global Nurdle Hunt – Help reduce the risk to wildlife. Nurdles hunts are fun and taking part is easy. By joining in you are helping end plastic pellet pollution.

The Great Global Nurdle Hunt is an annual citizen science event, which asks organisations, communities and individuals to organise nurdle hunts all around the world to draw attention to this issue and collect a snapshot of data on global plastic pellet pollution.

Great British Beach Clean

The Great British Beach Clean is a week-long citizen science event, where hundreds of beach cleans take place up and down the UK. Litter data collected drives our conservation work and also feeds into the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC)
