Dorset Council has sent letters to the government calling for further help in tackling the Climate and Ecological Emergency. Cllr Ray Bryan, Portfolio Holder for Highways, Travel and Environment and responsible for Dorset's CEE plan, asked for more money and better support from central government in dealing with the emergency, specifically:

Wimborne War on Waste are thrilled to announce that the 2 Minute Litter Pick returns to Wimborne!
From Monday 12th April you'll be able to find the 2 Minute Litter Pick Board outside Fair Ground shop (in the Cornmarket, next to The White Hart), during shop opening hours.
We have all the equipment you need to carry out your pick. It only takes 2 minutes of your time but makes a huge difference in raising awareness and keeping Wimborne litter free
